The Volkswagen New Beetle is an attractive and magnificent small car used for family. IN 1998, Volkswagen introduced this elegant car for which they take out heavy inspiration from the exterior design of the original Beetle.  The new Volkswagen New Beetle is distinctly separate from the first, as it has engine in the front driving the front wheels and luggage storage in the rear. In May 2010, Volkswagen publicly declared that production of the present body of the New Beetle will cease in 2011.

In the North American International Auto Show held in 1994, Volkswagen disclosed the theme, a "retro"-based idea  car with the similarity to the original Volkswagen Beetle. J Mays and Freeman Thomas wee the designer of the elegant car, whose concept was based on the platform of the Volkswagen Polo. Strapping  admiration of public to the Concept 1 convinced the company to create a production version which was launched as the New Beetle in 1998, based on the Golf IV's larger PQ34 platform.

The New Beetle is associated with the original only in name and looks, including the absence of a car emblem script with the exception of the VW logo. In the mid year 2003, a convertible was added, which replace the Volkswagen Cabrio. Although the New Beetle has several design similarities with the original VW Beetle, for instance: separate wings, vestigial running boards, sloping headlamps and large round tail lights, as well as a high rounded roofline. Recently, it is assembled in VW Puebla factory in Mexico.
