When did Italy become a country?
Tags: Country, italy
There is no specific date as to when all the Italian states unified into a country, but it is widely believed that the process of unification started with the Congress of Vienna and End of Napoleon’s Reign in 1815 and ending in 1870 when Rome was captured. King Victor Emmanuel II became the first leader of a unified Italy.
