   Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor who acts in Bollywood movies. Kapoor's family has an old heritage of Punjabi dynasty, it was founded by his grandfather.
   
   He made his acting debut in the 2007 film Saawariya, for which he also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, Kapoor went on to earn praise for his performance in the movie Wake Up Sid in the year 2009. He later appearred in the commercially successful romantic comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in the year 2009 and the multi-starrer drama Raajneeti in the year (2010), and it became his biggest commercial success till now. Kapoor has established himself as one of the most upcoming actors of Hindi cinema.
   
   Before starting acting and making it a career, Kapoor worked as the assistant with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and there he was involved in making of the film Black in the year 2005.Kapoor made his acting debut in the month November 2007 with director Bhansali's Saawariya opposite newcomer Sonam Kapoor. The film was not a big success at the box office but his performance was largely appreciated. Kapoor then played in the movie Siddharth Anand's romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno in the year (2008) alongside Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone. The film performed pretty well at the box office.
