   Art Direction is the responsibility of the Art Director who works under the production designer and works alongside with the set director and is above set designers. They are responsible for assigning tasks to personnel, keeping track of the budget and scheduling of the art department, and quality control of the department as well. They also act as a liaison to other departments such as the Locations Department, Property, and Construction.
