    Hello Jane Dickson

Well the famous traditional thaipusam has banned in the month of January 2011. Recently the Hindu Endowments Board has announced the unique guidelines which emphasis that it has received a handful of queries from devotees seeking clarification. Unfortunately the admirers have to visit Malaysia for the thaipusam rituals.

It has been notified that massive outcry reached the government offices, as the angry admirers and worshipers are not willing to accept this decision anymore.

Once the 4km famous event, which can stretch more than four hours always starts from Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in Serangoon Road and finally ends at the Sri Thendayuthapani Temple in Tank Road. I guess people will miss the ritual of thaipusam very much, as they are trying hard to go back to the same track but it seems quite impossible.

I hope the information which I have provided you is quite interesting and comprehensively covers the issue. Still you need to know something about the ritual or related trends than let me know.

I am always happy to be of your help. Share your comments and queries here.

    Thanks
