Tags: buddhism, originate
Buddhism originated from Siddhartha Gautama who was an Indian prince who lived from the 6th century BCE to the 4th century BCE. The prince gave up everything for the path of moderation and was later named Buddha which means the “awakened one” or “enlightened one.” The Buddha spent his entire life in India and never stepped out of the country.
