   From group 'A' Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan quite understandably were the favorites in  the group to reach the knock out rounds and have made it quite easily. On the other hand, the group 'B' is facing a very interesting situation. With the exception of South Africa, no other team has yet fully confirmed their place in the quarters. India, England, West Indies despite on 2,3 and 4th positions respectively are still hoping for the best. But the number one position in group 'A' is still not decided as there is the big match of Pakistan and Australia to be played.
