    After yesterday’s record of rainfalls and flooding in the four local government areas in the state's south, the New South Wales Government has declared them as disaster areas.
    Around 380mm of rain fell in these parts of Australia which led to sparking evacuations and rescues. The estimates suggest the damage bill in the Shellharbour, Kiama, Bombala and Bega regions will be in the millions.
