   Hi,
   Locate and remove the 2 screws that secure the console to the cabinet. On a Kenmore, they may be hidden under the endcaps. Tilt the console back, and remove the 2 gold clips, and disconnect the lid switch plug. Tilt the entire cabinet forward, and off of the base. The pump is located at the very front of the machine. Remove the 2 clips securing it to the motor, and pull it off. It is best that you lift the front of the base up, and secure it (a paint can will do). This moves all the water to the rear of the unit. Remove the hoes off of the pump, and look inside. Remove the obstruction. If you cannot remove it, replace the pump. :)
