Sometimes it seems that to a large extent, is staging another way to polish the public image of who we are, or who we look like we are. And selfies open all sorts of questions about vanity, narcissism and obsession with beauty and body image.

But the dispatch of a stroke selfies phenomenon is too simplistic. We are getting used to internet conversations and interactions that take place around images and pictures. They are often more effective as a vehicle for emotions or reactions to a text. And with services like Snapchat , Skype, Google Hangouts and FaceTime, we feel more comfortable seeing our faces on a screen.

"The idea is that the face selfie is the title when trying to explain a point or tell a story ," says Frédéric della Faille , founder and designer frontback , a new program that allows users to take pictures using front camera both as you back.

In other words, this shows friends and family euphoria when you have a good day, or opening a dialogue in the same way they could write simply " Hello" .

The selfies demuestram we see the world through social media is much more interesting when people inserted into it, which have warned the websites of many of these media, like Vine, Twiter tool for sharing videos. Anyway , the reaction can cause the selfies not hurt. When I was a novice user of Instagram rarely focused the camera on myself. Preferred sharing photos of the sunset party or to teach, a haircut or a new garment. But last year I watched all my colleagues began to slowly get back their cameras on themselves. This has made my most interesting and funny news of Instagram. And I've seen much more often the faces of my friends as they cooked a close-up photo of the dish already prepared. On the rare occasions when I feel bold enough to publish a front picture of my face , I see that the comments and the response increased a lot.

Rather than belittle this trend of digital culture, perhaps we had better contemplate the selfies in its most positive aspect: they are a kind of digital diary, a way to draw attention to our brief existence and preserve it for others as evidence that we were here. The rest , of course , is open to interpretation.

It’s crazy, to summarize this whole thing; We love ourselves, we love to see our faces and we love to share our best pictures.
