     The owners of the Sacramento Kings team are: Joe Maloof, Gavin Maloof, Phil Maloof, George J. Maloof, Jr., Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, and Robin E. Hernreich. The General manager of the team is Geoff Petrie while the Head coach Paul Westphal D-League and affiliate of the team is Reno Bighorns. The Arena Power Balance Pavilion which is situated in City Sacramento, California .The team’s dress colour is Purple, Black, Silver, and White. They are presently members of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The single team in the "big four" sports leagues situated in Sacramento, they play their home games in Power Balance Pavilion. The Kings investigated their origins to a local semi-professional team based in Rochester, New York in the early 1920s, making them one of the senior basketball clubs still in existence. The team entered in the National Basketball League (NBL) in 1945 as the Rochester Royals. The Royals blemish to the NBL's rival, the Basketball Association of America, in 1948. In 1945 the team was developed by owner Hall of Famer and his brother Jack Harrison and they won the NBL championship in 1945–46, its very first year in the circuit. During 1948, the Royals moved to the Basketball Association of America along with the Fort Wayne Pistons, Minneapolis Lakers, and Indianapolis Jets. After one year the BAA merged with the remaining NBL teams to become the National Basketball Association.
