Sir Charles Tupper is the shortest serving Canadian prime minister serving only 68 days in 1896. Tupper was the fourth and last prime ministers serving the remainder of Sir John A. Macdonald’s last term after Macdonald had passed away. He never won an election and was actually only in power during an election campaign.
