My friend was talking about the release of the CIA agent Raymond Davis by the Pakistani authorities. Can someone tell me that why Pakistan has released Raymond Davis?

    Pakistan  suddenly set free the CIA contractor Raymond Davis, who shot and  slain  two men after a deal was closed Wednesday to  yield  $2.34 million in “blood money” to the killed men’s families. It is still a mytery that he was released under the pressure of the American Government or was actually forgiven by the families of the victims. The mystery is still unresolved but the CIA agent had flew away from Pakistan.
