Why are some people afraid to talk to girls?

   Probably because they are nervous. Both boys and girls can be uncertain when meeting new people, even more so when they are attracted to the person. Making a good first impression is important, but just be polite and friendly. You will find that the situation resolves itself one way or the other.
   
   Of course, if you are afraid to ruin the "dream" of having a relationship, you will never find out whether to pursue it or move on.

   Some of them are just stuck-up and never give me the time of day.  Anyway, a little confidence can go a long way in talking to decent women.  Whenever I do encounter stuck-up women I am actually glad they don't talk to me because I don't have to deal with them.  A relationship with someone like that would not be enjoyable anyway.  As for all you nice women out there (the majority), thank you for taking the time to talk to me.
