Dear Mr. Talat,

I happened to watch your show "News Night" covering the topic of "Media Coverage" of PTI's Dharna about the Drone Attacks. I would like to state here that the way Imran Khan was questioned on your show was not appropriate at all. He took the initiative of organizing such an event and instead of rallying behind him the Media has questioned its success; why? Do you think that it was not a good idea to organize such an event? I accept the fact that viewer-ship is an important factor for media channels but some times one has to give priority to causes which are of National Importance. Our news channels can telecast the recital of speech c*m poems live from London and never question that theatrical performance; why? It is the media's responsibility to fully support PTI. At some point in time the national priorities are supposed to be above everything else. The media has to take sides with this guy now. All the other political parties have only caused havoc in the country.

For me and my friends sitting outside the country it was very depressing to realize that maybe the media channels will keep on following the rules that suit them while Pakistan is bogged down by these corrupt leaders who have brought nothing but shame to the country.

The work of media is to focus hot issues and problems in country. The name of the country is Pakistan which is full of problems. Imran Khan's Dharna was on the day when whole the nation was asking government and other responsible bodies to answer about the Osama and the American's and this is much much higher ranked issue then Imran Khan. Hope you will try to understand what Pakistan. What Imran Khan did was totally foolish on his part because dharna is no solution specially when the country is in such critical situation. Thank you.
