Why did Wes Welker leave the New England Patriots for the Denver Broncos

    According to a myriad of reports Welker felt slightly disrespected by the notoriously cold hearted New England Patriots. Throughout his past few years in New England there have been very few receivers who have accumulated the number of catches, yards and first downs that Welker had. He was a valuable and healthy asset who was Tom Brady's safety valve.

   
   

   The Pats offered Welker a 2 year deal worth $10 million, which he thought to be a slap in the fact as he was asking for at least $12 million. When push finally came to shove he joined the Broncos who made him feel very welcomed.
