Why do I get a white cloud in my scope at dim or low light (last light of the day)?

    Old scope or new i dont know but good light is required to see a clear picture , twilight is the worst ,  it is to dark to see and not dark enough to use a spotlight thats when it plays havoc looking through a rifle scope , as long as your lens is clean and the scope is looked after i would put it down to bad lighting , if u have a clear view when the spotlight is shining then you should be ok , just try and see that their is no moisture in the scope ...
