Is America a democracy? If not, then why do so many people call America a Democracy?

    America is not a democracy at all. Constitution has defined it a republic. I think lack of awareness is making people believe it to be democracy!

    According to United States Constitution, Artical IV Section 4- Republican government: The United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican Form of Government. America is not a democracy, but has element of democracy so, people might consider it as democracy!
