Why does my guy cousin always brag about his girlfriend?

   There are many reasons he could've done that.Such as:

   
   

   1)He is trying to make you jealous

   
   

   2)Wants you to think he is cool,popular,hot,(by hot i mean that a lot of girls like him at school or something)and nice just because he has a girlfriend

   
   

   3)He wants to get your attention

   
   

   4)He wants to annoy you and/or tease you (cousins do that.)

   
   

   5)He wants you to bug him (since he probably always bugs or bothers you,he wants you to get annoyed and bug him back for attention like I said in #3.Which I find weird cuz who wants to be bugged and annoyed all the time???)

   
   

   6)If you don't have a boyfriend,he could do that by making fun of you(like i said in #4),or if you don't have one,he could be doing it to convince you to get one.(By that i mean he is convincing you to get one by bragging about his girlfriend and saying how awesome it is or how the girl is and how cool it is,etc..cuz i really don't know what he says,but that could be part of bragging)

   
   

   7)If you have a boyfriend,maybe he is trying to give you hints about what you should do to him,or what he should do to you because i'm sure he texts calls and other things with his girlfriend,right?

   
   

   8)If you have a guy friend,maybe he is trying to help you get him to be your boyfriend (in other words,he is trying to get you in a relationship with someone,or he could just be doing it in general)

   he is either just doing it for attention,annoy you,or tease/make fun of you for not having a bf (if u dnt hav 1).next time he does this,just simply ignore him and he'll stop,trust me.or,whenever u get a bf brag about him and he'll know how u felt.and that will also cause him to stop bragging.

   omg,ur sooo dumb(sry no offence)...okay do this:if u were to brag him about ur bf y would u do it?think of a reason...then,when u thought of a good reason,then that could be the reason he is doing it.but,you have to double think about ur reason and be sure ur reason is good and right because there is one obvious big difference between u two-gender.

    Hmmm I think he is doing all this to be close to you trying to explain to you that he care about you but not finding a way to come close to you and share his feelings with you. He might be afraid from you and something. And you can try him by using a friend of your and all the mystery will be solved there in front of you and you will be much more clear.

   he is doing it to make u jealous...trust me,my 13 year old cuz does tht to me all the time,and since we go to the same skewl i heard him tell his friend at school that he tries to make me jealous by bragging about his gf and the friends all like whaa..?u uh r?well uhmm go 4 it!and then i texted him and said ur tyna make me jealous huh?? and he replied 2 hours later...

   
   

   no,i am trying to make another cuzin on my dad's side of the family jealous..she just has the same name as u lyndssy..and i replied watev.and he replied right away and said dnt u believe me?then i said no! and he put i'll prove it and i put ttyl and he is all like what does tht meen? and i ignored him and ever since he has ignored my text messages...and calls,too...but on family gatherings,he always gets jealous of other guy cousins and he flirts with me...but girl,if ur guy cousin nvr replies to ur texts that's a sign of something..if he hardly ever replies,if he takes 4ever 2 respond,or if he nvr txts bak at all,then yeah there is something there.cuz it happens to me alot,and the guy cuzin brags aboiut his gf alot toooooo..kinda annoying.
