There are around 10 reasons that why a user should go for upgrading Windows Vista to Windows 7 and they are as follows:

    1. Windows 7 makes the PC run faster than ever, having bigger buttons in the taskbar has and full-sized previews—and you can pin programs to it for one-click access. Jump Lists provide shortcuts to files, folders, and websites, while Snap, Peek, and Shake provide easy (and fun) new ways to juggle all those open windows.

    2. The search results are displayed instantly, grouped by category—documents, pictures, music, e mail, and programs. Search in a folder or library and the search can be fine-tuned with filters like date or file type—and use the preview pane to peek at the contents of your results.

    3. To share files and printers on your home network is now simple with HomeGroup. Connect two or more PCs running Windows 7, and with a minimum effort the sharing music, pictures, videos, and documents with other people in your home can be done.

    4. Windows 7 is designed to run your programs faster and to sleep, resume, and reconnect to wireless networks quicker. Provided with 64-bit support, user can take full advantage of the latest in powerful 64-bit PCs.

    5. To connect with wireless networks on your laptop now takes just a couple of clicks. Once the user has connected to a network, Windows will remember it so it could be connected again later automatically.

    6. Windows includes true multitouch technology, having gestures for zooming, rotating, and even right-clicking, thus providing a whole new way to work with your PC.

    7. Device Stage, a new feature in Windows 7, works like a home page for things like portable music players, smartphones, and printers. Upon plugging a compatible device into your PC, there will be seen a menu with information and popular tasks like battery life and photos ready to be downloaded with printing options.

    8. Provided with new features in Windows Media Player 12, users can enjoy your media library around the house—or around town.

    9. Windows 7 allows the full power of Internet Explorer 9, from its stunning hardware-accelerated graphics to the ability to launch favorite websites right from the user’s taskbar.

    10. The Action Center, new in Windows 7, allows control of maintenance and security messages. Users can turn notifications on or off for things like Windows Defender or User Account Control.
