    This is well and truly understood that a captain always has to lead from the front particularly when it come to a pressure situation. The Australian captain Ricky Ponting seem to be capitalising on the platform set by former Australian captain Steven Waugh, for winning the last two World Cups in a row. With Pontings ordinary run with the bat in the last few months, it is evident that he is going to face big criticism from the media, particularly if Australia fails to defend the title.
