    William Campbell was born on October 30, 1926 and died on April 28, 2011. He was an American actor who came in supporting roles in major film productions and also starred in several low budget B movies, including two cult horror films.

    He was a veteran TV actor who acted in television series from "Gunsmoke" to "Star Trek" to "Perry Mason," and was married to President John F. Kennedy paramour Judith Campbell Exner. William Campbell has died of natural causes. Campbell was admitted in Motion Picture & Television Fund's hospital in the San Fernando Valley, according to media reports he died on Friday. According to his imdb.com bio entry, Campbell was 84.

    Campbell worked steadily through the 1960s and 1970s in a long line of television series. He had film roles in the 1950s, such as "Man in the Vault," with Anita Ekberg, and also appeared in 'Dementia: 13," Francis Ford Coppola's early horror film.
