Genetic engineering from home; I don’t know how president Bush will react to genetic engineering from home but that is exactly what people are now doing and that too in their spare time.  Combing homemade lab and online resources some people are playing a part time God and are trying to create new life forms.

Historically experimenting with genetic engineering was left for the Ph.D.s in universities and high tech corporate laboratories.

In her San Francisco dining room lab, for example, 31-year-old computer programmer Meredith L. Patterson is trying to develop genetically altered yogurt bacteria that will glow green to signal the presence of melamine, the chemical that turned Chinese-made baby formula and pet food deadly.

"People can really work on projects for the good of humanity while learning about something they want to learn about in the process," she said.

Working from home on discovering and creating new life is an emerging field and so far nothing major has been accomplished but do you think people should be allowed to create medical disasters or cures for cancers from their dinning room?

Genetic engineering can lead to the creation of genetically engineered groups of people for warfare

Genetic engineering could defect the existing gene pool and there is no rollback button, which can be pressed to go back to the origin

Genetic engineering is against almighty God’s will and playing a part time God could have adverse affects.
