can a diaper and plastic pants be worn under a communion dress?

yes by all means.in many parishes it is a tradition for the girls to wear a cloth diaper and rubber pants under their communion dresses.in some families it is a tradition also.the communion dress is considered an of the baptism gown or dress the girls were baptized in as babies so the cloth diaper and rubber pants are worn under their whites and symbolizes their purity of their baptisms.in a few parishes the diaper and rubber pants are required under the dresses.even p*****n and teen who make their first communions wear them.i know of three 15 year old girls who each wore a thick cloth diaper and plastic pants under their tights for their first communions.their parents had them wear them.

i am the mom of an 8 year daughter and she made her first communion last may i did a cloth diaper and rubber pants under her dress.i made her communion diaper fron infant diapers sewn together to make one diaper.i used youth size rubber pants on her over the diaper.it is a tradition at our parish for the girls to wear them.all the little girls had them and even the 5 teen girls who were in her class had them on under their dresses.i put my daughters communion diaper and rubber pants in her drawer and she wore them for the holidays and i will put them on her again for easter.as a mom,i feel all girls p*****n and teen should wear a cloth diaper and rubber pants under their communion dresses.

i am a catholic girl,16 and was confirmed last may and me and all the other girls in my class were required to wear a cloth diaper and rubber pants under our white confirmation dresses with tights over them.we had to wear and under shirt with the diaper rubber pants and tights.

my two daughters who are ages 8 and 11 are making their first holy communions on easter sunday and i am dressing them in identical poofy above the knees communion dresses with their veils ,lace anklets and shoes.i have a thick cloth diaper made for both of them and a pair of teen size white rubberpants that they are going to wear under theit dresses.they are both going to lay side by side on the bed while i put their diaper and rubberpants on them.after the ceremony and before their party,i am going to change them into their cute pastel easter dresses.they are going to wear their diaper and rubberpants under their easter dresses for the rest of the day.
I honestly never heard of children or teens wearing rubber pants or/and cloth diapers but it sounds like a great idea. When my daughter gets her first communion, I'll have to try it on her.

our parish just had first holy communion last sunday and all of the girls had a cloth diaper and rubber pants on under their tights.there were four teen girls in the class and they each had the diaper and rubber pants on also under their tights.it is a tradition at our parish for the girls to wear them.
at my parish the girls wear the same outfits for confirmation as they do for first communion only the white dresses are floor length rather than just below the knees.both the communion dress and the confirmation dress are considered extensions of the baptism gown the girls were baptized in as infants so to symbolize their purity and innocence of their baptisms, the girls wear a cloth diaper,plastic pants,white tights and under shirt under both dresses.i was confirmed last may at 16 and me and all the other girls in my class all wore the cloth diaper,plastic pants,tights and under shirt under our dresses.our parish sells the plain white plastic pants in both little girl and teen girl sizes for the parents to buy and have their daughters wear over their diaper.
my parish is strict and requires all the girls to wear a cloth diaper and plastic pants under their white dresses for baptisms,first holy communion,and confirmation.i made my first communion at age 8 and had to wear the diaper and toddler plastic pants under my dress as did all the other girls.we had to wear lace socks with our dresses so the diaper and plastic pants were just under our dresses.for confirmation this past may at 16 we had to wear a white floor length dress,veil,gloves,lace socks and mary jane type white shoes,we all had to wear the cloth diaper,adult plastic pants and under shirt under our dresses.the plastic pants had to fit blousy over our diaper so as to be comfortable,the plastic pants crinkled under our dresses when we walked down the aisle.all the boys knew us girls had the diaper and plastic pants on under our dresses and gawked at us the whole time.my parish encourages the girls to wear their diaper and plastic pants for special occasions and out on dates to protect our purity and innocence.
