    Hi,
    Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test is an examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. There are 159 institutes in Madhya Pradesh offering Bachelor of Engineering(B.E.) courses through Madhya Pradesh PET. 90% seats in the Government/Aided colleges are reserved for Madhya Pradesh candidates, 5% for Outside MP candidates and 5% for NRIs. For Private Self-financing institutes 75% of seats are reserved for MP candidates, 20% seats for Outside MP candidates and 5% seats for NRI candidates

    Eligibility criteria:

    A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
    Also a candidate should not be more than 21 years(24 years for SC/ST) on 1st October, 2010.

    Those applying for Madhya Pradesh seats should have a Madhya Pradesh domicile for which a candidate should have atleast been educated for atleast 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years in an institution in Madhya Pradesh.

    Availability of Forms for MP PET 2010:

    The forms for MP PET 2010 are expected to be available by April in the office of Professional Examination Board or any of the State Engineering Colleges. The form can also be obtained by post from Board Office by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

    Important Dates(Tentative):

    Date of Entrance Examination: June 1st week, 2010
    Availability of Application Forms: April 3rd week-May 1st week, 2010
    Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: May 2nd week, 2010

    Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.

    Pattern of Examination:

    The paper will be consist of objective questions from the following subjects:
    Physics-300 marks
    Chemistry-300 marks
    Mathematics-300 marks

    Syllabus will be from class 11th and 12th PCM syllabus.
