Question:

can't open the Mavis Beacon Keyboarding for Kidz. Says I don't have permission to open?

I installed the program on my Mac and when I try to open the folder it says I don't have permission.  What is the problem?

     In case you haven't been able to figure it out since you asked the question: right click the installed Mavis Beacon folder (it probably has a little red minus icon showing it is locked). Choose "Get Info." A box will open. Click the bottom right lock. From here, allow users to Read & Write. This will unlock the folder. Seriously a pain and foolish for Broderbund to do this. I have a Mac so if you have a PC, I'm not sure if it's the same. Worth trying.
