dangerous heavy bikes - I've owned a heavy bike, a beautiful maroon chopper, but got into a horrible accident recently and lost my finger. how does someone deal with that?

As hard as it may be, accepting what has happened is the only way to deal with losing a limb. You got to move on and live for the best; lot worse could have happened.

Patience my friend!
All happens for a reason. you cant blame the bike for this unpleasent incidence. There are worse things in life that happen. Its all a part of life. You should thank GOD for saving your life as it could have resulted in a much bigger disastor. Here i am not trying to say that its not a big deal as to what happened but still its something that you definately can get over just by changing your frame of mind.
Be positive.. i am sure there are alot of better things God must have planned for you and must be on thier way :)
