denon avr-590 receiver no sound through HDMI

Picture output from receiver works for all three HDMI inputs.  Audio is missing from all three.

     I'm not sure about the avr-590, but my avr-588 doesn't support sound over the HDMI cable.  I had to use a separate optical cable and identify it as the audio input for that channel.  Good luck, Bill Ecklor
