I am a grade 6 student and I want to know that does the moon have the same day and night as the earth.

     No, earth and moon do not have the same day and night. Day and night is a transition which is formed by the spinning of the earth about its axis.

    Same occur on the moon but the difference is that it takes 28.5 days for the moon to spin about its axis. So one moon-day is 28.5 Earth-days long!
