DOHC (Dual Overhead Camshaft) is truly based for high power with performance and its not fuel efficient and VTEC - (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control System) is designed for regular use as it save lots of fuel and gives you enough performance boost for daily use.

VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control) is a valvetrain system developed by Honda to improve the volumetric efficiency of a four-stroke internal combustion engine.

A DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) valve train layout is characterized by two camshafts located within the cylinder head, one operating the inlet valves and one operating the exhaust valves.

Basically, DOHC is for racing, and VTEC is for penny-pinchers who want to save on gas, but gives enough performance to have fun.

    Hope it helps!
