Although i too am an 8ther bt i thought tryin' wasn't a very bad option. so here goes my analysis.....................i think the speaker of the poem is a child who has a totally different attitude of the place he lives in. The familiar catamarans, the sea n its waves, the seagulls, the coconuts are all the little things which make him realize that the place is his own home which has a lot to give to its people.and unselfishly it showers all its wealth to the fisherman who toil day n night and make a sweet, peaceful living under the shadows of a guiding moonlight. and thus he thinks by the course of time the poet has made the sea, the clouds and the waves his comrades and is satisfied with life n enjoys living with it.
