    when i put in disc the dvd player reads err disc. what can be done to correct issue?

    We also get the same error.  We have used multiple CDs, we have cleaned them all with proper disk cleaning utilities, we have cleaned the reader using a reader cleaner and still get the same error. The unit was made in July 2008.
