   Hi,
   Ford firing orders as fallows ; 300 straight six 153624 distributor rotation clockwise, 232 v6 142536 distributor rotation counterclockwise, 255/302/360/390/460 15426378 distributor rotation counterclockwise, 351 & 400 W & M 13726548 distributor rotation counterclockwise. You can always use the library to veiw and check out automotive manuals that will give you the diagrams ! If you are looking under the hood the V8'S left side is 1234 right 5678. The V6 is the same way left is 123 right is 456 . the straight six is front to rear 123456 . All V8'S #1 Cyl on cap is on the back side of cap somwhat pointing at steering wheel , V6 on the other hand is just to the left of center in front ,straight six is across from #4 plug area. If you have removed your distributor make sure that #1 is on top dead center compression stroke so everything gets timed in properly !! All directions are from looking under hood ! hope this helps
