    Hi,
    Meal planning involves the process of decision-making before the actual marketing and food preparation. It considers what food to include in a meal and how best to use available ingredients, time, and energy.

    The goal of meal planning is to allow the person-in-charge of food preparation to prepare and serve nutritious, safe, clean, appetizing, and affordable food. Knowing that the food industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the country because Filipinos love to eat, food preparation and meal management are recognized as critical factors to be considered and monitored by food service establishments.

    The training course will enhance the working knowledge and skills of service crewmembers, meal planners, and food handlers in improving the quality and safety of meals served to customers.

    The two-day activity will cover various aspects on meal management, such as basic concepts of nutrition, food buying, food storage, food preparation, food costing, and cycle-menu planning. The training will be a combination of lectures, workshop, participative discussion, presentation, and critiquing of workshop outputs.

    To cover the cost of food (2 snacks and 1 lunch per day), a registration fee of P500 shall be charged on each participant.

    Payment in check should be payable to Jardin de la Viña Hotel.
