    There should be a lever on the inside back that should be moved to the far right . As far as I know my closck only chimes once every 1/2 hour.

    You may have to adjust the chime spring. I had to adjust mine. The hammer was missing it. Just loosten teh s***w that holds the chime spring just behind the pendulum. turn it right or left so that the hammer is about 1/8th inch away.
