   his is why God created paper clips. On some cd players there is an small hole to the side of the cd opening. Poking this indent with the paper clip while pressing the eject sometimes works. If your car doesn't have this feature, you just have to poke the paper clip into the mechanism opening and risk damaging the cd to get it out. You either press the cd up or down while pressing the eject.
   
   Otherwise, go to the dealership and ask them how to take it out. I have only had this problem when someone else made me a cd and put a paper label on it. This is generally a bad idea, particularly for car insert cd players. The extra thickness from the paper label causes the problems you mention and makes one search the desk drawer for paper clips!
