   If you want to connect the printer to your computer you have to install the driver of the printer on your system first and than try it will work.

   If you have recently purchase the mfc 210c brother printer then find out the installation guides. If you have lost the installation guide then follow this procedure to install the printer.
   
   Insert the printer USB port with the computer
   
   Insert the printer driver cd in your CD ROM.
   
   If you have lost the CD then download the printer driver
   
   No there are two ways to install the drive
   
   you can install it through the driver setup and device manager
   
   I would opt Driver setup for you and double click the exe setup
   
   restart your windows and unplug the usb port of printer
   
   After restart plug the USB port and send a command to printer
   
   if the setup is successful then printer will print sample pages for you
   
   If you are using latest Operating system and you have the setup for old version of OS then your driver might not install.
   
   To tackle that problem you have to start the setup in compatibility mode
   
   For that right click the setup file and go to properties
   
   Open the compatibility tab and uncheck the compatibility mode check button
   
   Select the windows xp SP3 and click apply.
