how will the redirect page capture the referrer information for Analytics reports?

I have analytics setup for my page for calculating user visits but I want to know how the redirects will be captured in page referrers.

    Place the Google Analytics tracking code on the redirecting page as well as on the landing page. This way, the redirecting page will capture the actual referrer information for your reports.
