Yes, but your parents would be the ones to press charges. Also, for child support, go through the state. The Welfare department can help. If he disappears, you can do online searches for him and report new locations; state services stink at that. However, be sure to not allow him ANY visitation rights, this guy is nearly guaranteed to be the last sort of role model you want for your child. I got pregnant early, and I do suggest adoption. If you go that route, saying you don't know who the dad is will make it so he can't interfere with any adoption proceedings. Lastly, having been a young single mom, GO GET A VOCATION! Become a dental assistant, whatever- as long as it's good pay, and easy to find work. I made the mistake of trying to get a job I wanted, but had no skills. So I stayed broke and my son suffered very much for it. Good luck...
