    Hi,
Normally, your TV or VCR is probably set to display the television channels you watch, through a standard cable input. In order to play your Nintendo using the A/V cables, we need to tell your TV or VCR to switch from the normal tv channels, and instead display the signal coming in from the A/V cables of your Nintendo system. There is no one particular way to do this, as it varies between brands, but below is some information that may help.
Quick Tip: Grab the original remote control for the TV or VCR you have plugged your Nintendo into, and look for a button that could be labeled:

    TV/Video
    Input Select
    Line or Line In
    Source
    AUX (auxiliary)
    EXT (external)
any other button that seems to indicate it would switch between the TV signal and the game system.
If the above tips did not help, it is possible your Input Select is a little more difficult to locate. Here are some other common ways to access an Input Select:

A button on the front of your TV or VCR located behind a door or a hidden panel, or located on the original remote control that came with the device. If you are using a universal remote, it may not work when pressing the "input select" button. If it does not work, try to locate the original remote.
A high or low end channel. Try channel surfing through every channel, even the ones that do not normally broadcast a TV show. Many times the input select is a high channel such as 90, 91, 92, 93, 99, or even 999. You should also try low channels such as 0, 00,001, 1 or even 2. For some televisions, you may need to manually select these channels by using the keypad on the TV or remote control.
Found within an on-screen menu. Search the menu for words such as Input, Setup or Source. Select one of these words, and another menu will usually appear that asks you to select between TV and either AV, AUX or Line. Select AV, AUX or Line to display the Nintendo game.
If you are still unable to find your input select, you may want to consult the operation manual that came with your TV or VCR, or contact the manufacturer directly.
