    The replacement display for the iPad 2 will feature a 10% brighter display while costing 15% less. The PLS will also feature greater viewing angles.
   
   Concorde Security in Taiwan has obtained a document leaking the components of the iPad 2. Alas, no retina display. However, the screen will be thinner and lighter. Between 4.5 to 5 million units are expected to be shipped. And the screen will have an anti-reflection gloss that will allow for improved reading. A Taiwan website is reporting that the iPad 2 will begin production in February and will produce about 5 million iPad2 for shipment in the first quarter of 2011. On a related note, the same site also reported that production of the iPhone 5 will be beginning shortly as well.
