is it wrong for a 14 year old girl to date an 11 year old boy?

Yeah, I'm 14 and I was dating an 11 year old boy. We really like eachother alot but my family thinks it's wrong. His family has no problem with it and neither do most of my friends.I was just wondering if it was illegal or wrong??

    Not as long as there are time limits for how much time you two spend together in person and talking/texting. When I was 11 in 6th grade competing for the affections of 13-going-on-14 9th grade girl, not being allowed to date would have taken away a learning experience.

    it's not illegal, and the thing that mostly matters is if you do actually like him, but if your family don't approve then i'd be careful cause you don't want to fall out with them over a boy. but tbh would they prefer an 11 year old boy or a 17 year old boy??
