    Basically Javascript is not a web design language, so you will not be able to build an entire website by using javascript. Web browsers display web pages with HTML or HTML based code.

    It is a simple but powerful programming language. It's used to add dynamic behavior to the Website. HTML defines the page's structure, and CSS defines how it looks, but actions, the things that happen when you interact with the page—by clicking a button, dragging an image, or moving the mouse—are defined in JavaScript. JavaScript works with the Document Object Model, to attach actions to different events (mouseovers, drags, and clicks).
