    Hi,
    That means it is charging at more than 14 or 15 volts.  If so, your electronics will be getting fried.  I would definitely have it checked asap.  If it is working properly, it may just be a coincidence that your radio quit working just after the swap.  I would replace the stereo with an aftermarket one with the features you are looking for
