memorex mvd2016 pscan

I have a memorex mvd2016blk dvd player.  My son was playing with the remote and somehow set it to progressive scan.  Now I have a rolling black and white image and it rolls to fast to read.  I've tried several tvs and cannot read it.  I also dont have, nor can I find, the manual.  Just wondering if there is someway I can reset it to factory default.  I have already tried unplugging it for a day and plugging it back in to the composite.  That did not work, obviously.  Can someone help me?  Please and Thank You.

    Found this at another location! Player has set itself to PAL, need to set back to NTSC. Watch the best you cna while it flips. With remote, Press setup. Press down arrow. press right arrow, press down arrow 2 times, press right arrow, press up arrow, press ok, press setup. this should navigate you through the setup screens to TV System and select NTSC.
