it brews just fine but it seems like the heating element is not working after brewing

You should go to the service centre or replace or old coffee maker with new one. There are many options are available in the market.

The possible issue can be with the led of the coffee maker due to which the coffee maker can't keep it hot. You need to replace the led or the rubber inside led which prevent the outer air to enter inside the coffee maker.
