   Hi,
   The nail should grow back given time.
   
   Keep it clean, and it shouldn't get infected. Bathing the wound in hot water and epsom salts can help with this (saturate the solution with as much epsom salts as you can, in water as hot as you can stand to keep your hand in long term)
   
   Depending on the state of the wound, there may or may not be a point in bandaging it (don't bandage it yourself, what ever you do. This can make things a lot, lot worse if you do it badly).
   
   To stop the bleeding (assuming it hasn't already), take some corn starch, or some flour, and push it in to the wound.
   
   It will be painful for a while, but it should get better.
