    It would help to know which model of Dremel tool this is.  I've owned several over the years. Whenever this has happened, I simply tightened the brush retainers just a little.  If your model is variable speed, then it has a sliding rheostatic switch...sometimes, these sliding switches go bad.  Try tightening the brush retainers a tiny bit, but don't overtighten as the threads are plastic. Good luck!
