my lanzar head unit is stuck ope and it thinks its closed

i have a lanzar sdbt77nu and it is flipped up currently.  The problem is that it thinks it is closed, and therefor won't close...

    Hi,
    It gots the the simple solution.
    Just ground the "brake" wire from the unit.
