   Piercing take time to get settled.. There is no fixed time that we can tell you as to how long it will take to get properly fixed because it varies from person to person. Some piercing take week some might take a year (e.g. belly piercing etc). As you see lips is quite a sensitive part of your body and it’s pretty natural to have such reactions.
   I think you should just observe for a week or 2 and see if it is getting better or not. If it is .. Then nothing like it.. but if you think the healing process if taking too long and its hurting a lot then you should definitely take it out because at times the piercing can be done on some wrong vein or nerve! Just consult the person you got this done from.. Incase the condition gets worse!
   However you can try putting antiseptics on it to stop bacterial problems!
